About the founder Dr. Motaz Alshami

I obtained my medical degree and have been practicing psychiatry since 2014. I completed a general psychiatry residency in Detroit, MI before moving to Chicago. I am certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology (ABPN).

I have a strong interest in psychotherapy and I am a training psychoanalytic candidate at the Chicago Psychoanalytic Institute. I speak English and Arabic. In my free time, I enjoy cooking and playing video games.
